Here at Precision Seeding Solutions we come across a wide variety of planters when retrofitting out in the field. One old faithful that we really enjoy retrofitting is the Kinze, mainly because for minimal investment by the grower he can greatly improve its ability to singulate and space seed correctly. The standard cup meter is simply removed from the bottom of the seed hopper by undoing two bolts, we then bolt our Precision Planting Vset meter in its place. To finish the job we then install a vacuum fan, manifold, vac gauge and hoses. A typical 8 row planter takes about 3 hours to install.
So the next time you drive past that Kinze parked in the corner of the shed, spare a thought for the years of service it has given you, its second lease of life is only a phone call to us away.
